“With 16 years of experience providing solutions for students diagnosed with hearing and learning concerns I consider myself to be well versed if not an expert in the field of accessibility.  Which is why I was so delighted and surprised by the presentation I attended by Darby Lee Young at A4LE this year.  Not only was it entertaining with great real world examples I also learned a tremendous amount.  Darby’s passion and dedication to changing the world shines through and I highly recommend attending anytime she presents.”

The seminar will be presented by Darby Lee Young.  Darby is a former para-alpine ski racer who was born with mild cerebral palsy.  She has over a decade of experience working as an accessibility strategist and is an expert in universal design.  Darby will provide best practice solutions and an in-depth discussion about true accessibility.  In addition, several mobility devices will be made available for participants to view and try.  Participants will gain a strong understanding of how they can ensure their designs are inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
